About The Event
New Orleans is a magnificent city known vastly for being a melting pot of cultures. It's most famously known for its jazz music, Creole cuisine, unique dialects, and its annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras.
Stroll about the festival grounds and enjoy New Orleans-style food and music. The Taste of New Orleans Festival is an event designed for all ages. If your looking for fun with a focus on family, join us from for family focused entertainment and activities including "street performers," stilt walkers, face painting, balloon twisting, mask making, games, noisemakers, beads, and more!
Join us at the DJ Tent from 5:00pm-5:30pm for the Stroll Contest. Decorate your stroller or wagon in the best New Orleans and Mardi Gras faire for a chance to win $100 cash prize!
Cocktails will be available as well at the "Bourbon Box" (must be 21 years or older with ID to purchase alcoholic beverages).
Repurpose those old Halloween Costumes, dress up and show off your Mardi Gras inspired attire. One lucky winner will receive a $100 cash prize for "Best Dressed" and be crowned the King or Queen of the Taste of New Orleans Festival at 6pm at the DJ Tent.
General Admission Ticket (ages 10 & older)
Cost: $5.00 ($5.75 total including $0.75 transaction fee) per person ages 10 & up

Cost: $15.00 ($15.75 total including $0.75 transaction fee) per adult ages 21 & up

General Event Parking is Free.
*** Proceeds from this event will go to G.R.O.W. Sis (Giving and Retaining Opportunities for Women in Business, a non-profit organization promoting the Sisterhood of supporting women in business through funding and consulting services. ***
The festival will also feature retail vendors and non-profit exhibitors.
Make a purchase with any retail vendor or give a donation to a non profit exhibitor and receive a beaded chain. The person with the most beads will receive $150 cash prize. *if there is a tie, names will be put in side of a jar, and the name pulled will be the lucky prize winner!

The bearer of this ticket is age 10 and older and is permitted general entry into the Taste of New Orleans Festival from 3:00pm-8:00pm.
