About The Event
Food Trucks are as American as Apple Pie. Starting in 1866 when the first Chuck Wagon was introduced. Join Lux Events for our 2nd Annual Great Food Truck Festival.
So get ready foodies, we're returning to the peninsula for our second annual Great Food Truck Festival!
The Great Food Truck Festival will feature over 14 gourmet food trucks serving a variety of delicious dishes and tasty treats.
General admission (12pm-6pm) is $3.00 per person ages 13 & up, children 12 and under admitted free.
General Event Parking is Free. Premium Parking in the college parking lot available for $5.00 (cash) for cars & motorcycles.
V.I.P. early admittance tickets (enter festival at 11am) are available for sale for $5.00 per person (adults & children).
V.I.P. early admittance includes an exclusive aerial acrobat performance, airbrush tattoos, large bubbles, and hula hoop lessons.
General Admission to the festival will feature music from our event DJ, games including Axe Throwing by our official event sponsor, Dual Axles 757, raffle prizes, face painting, balloon twisting, a magic show by magician Chuck Shields from 1:00pm-1:30pm, a juggling performance by Pittman Magic, Juggling, and Comedy at 3:00pm-3:30pm , and meet and greet and photos with Disney Characters, Cinderella from 12noon-12:30p, Tiana from 1pm-1:30pm, and Jasmine from 2pm-2:30p, and a LIVE Food Tasting with Yummo Bucko, famous VA Food Vlogger at 4:30pm.
The festival will also feature retail vendors and non-profit exhibitors.
